What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help the site work, remember your preferences and (sometimes) measure how the site is used.
Cookies we use
softconnection.co.uk keeps cookie usage to a minimum. We only set the following:
- Essential cookies — used only when you sign into the admin area (employees only). These are strictly necessary and do not require consent under PECR.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — if you accept the cookie banner we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to count visits and understand how pages are used. These cookies are only set after you give consent. We do not use Google Analytics data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed the Meta Pixel or similar ad-network trackers.
Your choices
When you first visit the site a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can decline and the site works fully without them. If you change your mind, clear your browser’s localStorage for softconnection.co.uk and the banner will reappear on your next visit.
You can also clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Updates to this policy
If we introduce additional cookies we will update this page before they are set.
